Link:For his one-day ticket to go snowboarding at Snowbird Ski Resort in Utah over the All-Star break, Lakers forward Vladimir Radmanovic paid somewhere in the neighborhood of $64. For the separated shoulder he suffered while snowboarding on that ill-fated trip, violating the terms of his contract, Radmanovic will pay a $500,000 fine.

It's more than the snowboarding, the dude lied to the team and to the staff about the reason for his injuries. He should know that the Lakers are on a playoff run and they need all their players to be healthy. Given that any incident as to why they are hurting should be told up front and honest. No time for BS.

They had to put a pretty stiff fine on him for that. Most places if you violate the terms of your contract it becomes void so he still got off pretty lightly, IMO.
