K-Mart Back in New Jersey?

New York Daily News - According to a report published in the New York Daily News, two Nets sources said the team has and will continue to discuss whether obtaining Kenyon Martin this summer is realistic and feasible.

The Nets signed and traded Martin to Denver in July 2004 for three future first round picks after refusing to give him a maximum contract. He is still owed $70 million over the next five seasons.

Nets president Rod Thorn says he does not want to trade Jason Kidd, Vince Carter, Richard Jefferson or Nenad Krstic unless a superstar comes back in return

They already have Krstic in the Power Forward position. But I think this would be a pefect spot for K-Mart. They are a fast pace team. And look what he did with them before he got traded. Jason Kidd is the perfect point guard for him since he can threw him alley-oops whenever he wants. But Martin might now score as much since Vince and Carter are the scorers of the team and Krstic might take some minutes away.

But I think it would be a perfect fit for Martin. Espicailly with Jason Kidd at point guard.

I'm sure he'd love to come back because he and Kidd have such good chemistry and who better to get him out his slump then his old buddy. Imagine the old school Martin, Kidd, Carter, & Jefferson? :man4:

I doubt he goes back though.....
