Lakers vs Suns Thread-Force Review On Lakers Inside

Postby The Force on Sun Apr 30, 2006 2:18 pm

This series is getting tense. Its like every game there's a miny fight. Kobe and Nash going at it and Kobe dunking on him. Game 3 Kwame hitting Diaw and Kobe and Nash going at it again. And Luke hitting Thomas hard. Today is Game 4. I can't wait. I'm going to start typing Force's Take For the series.

This is the most entertaining series so far. Kobe has taken himself and his team to another level. Congrats to him on that game winner.

Stars Of The Game

Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash. These to have had some problems the last 2 games.Saying some bad words to each other. And having the refs not going there way. Kobe Game 1 Nash Game 4. Kobe this series has been unbelievble. We all expected him to score 40-50 points for the Lakers to in but he hasn't even passed the 30 point mark and his team is leading 3-1. These series Nash hasn't been able to be himself because the Laker defense has just improved visously. While Kobe hasn't been himself also but he has been much better. Becoming a playmaker and turning it on when he needs to. Like last game in the final moments. Lakers have shown that they can play close games and can have miracles happen. While Nash has just hasn't been able to play good in the final seconds turning it over 2 times in the end of regualtion and at the end of the overtime that ended up with a Kobe game tieing bucket and a buzzer beating bucket! Watch for these to in Game 5.

What's Going To Happen?
Lakers now have momentuem taking the last 3 games from teh Suns but they're going back to Pheonix so the crowd is going to change. The crowd in Los Angeles was just going crazy. If the Lakers win it will depend on how the role players play. And on what the Suns are expecting from Kobe, a playmaker or a scorer. Same for the Lakers. Last game Nash had to become a scorer in the first half since Marion wasn't doing anything. But then Marion stepped it up. Nash hasn't been able to be himslef this series and I hope it stays that way. Hopefully the Lakers can keep there momentuem and win this series

-------------------------------------Lakers 05-06 Season Review
______________________Player Summarys Only Starting Line-up

____________________________________ Image
__________________________________ Smush Parker
Wow! What a surprise this kid turned out to be. Suppose to be a back-up point guard but ended up being the starting point guard for the Los Angeles Lakers all year long. Imagine that last year your in the NBDL, this year starting point guard for the Los Angeles Lakers. Just a dream come true. Anway back to his play, at the beginning of the year he was known for his dunking(and still is) and was making noise around the league but as time progressed his defense became lousy (it always was except at the end of regulation of Game 4 stealing the ball from Nash) and he would just dissappear in some games. But he still shocked everybody on how he turned out this season.

Unbelieveable. All I can say from the season Kobe had. He just turned up up to a whole nother level. Just unbelieveable. Who would have predicted the season kobe had? Who? We all knew he would have his best season in the pros but like this! Broke tons of records I can't even keep track of all the records, but when you think of this season and Kobe first thing that comes to your mind id "81". January 22 2005. Historic. 81 freakinf points in one game. That is just unbelieveable. The most impressive part, he made it look easy. He makes everything looks easy. That's just Kobe being Kobe. When a player scores 50 you think "Man Kobe can do that in his sleep." Also the number 62. In 3 quarters. First player ever to outscore the opposing team threw 3 quarters. Most 40 point games by a Laker in a season. Anyway Kobe played so well he is getting (got) serious M.V.P consideration. We all know it is between Kobe and Nash but we also know the media hates the Kobe so he can just kiss the trophy good-bye (I might be wrong) but if I'm right we all know who the real M.V.P is.
Unbelieveable.

Oh man I don't know how to start at the begginning of the season everybody wanted him out of the Lakers. But at the end of the season he really stepped it up. Dropping 2 straight triple doubles. While the Lakers were onn a run. And has brung that game into the playoffs. Hustling and playing defense, making ket shots, 3 point plays..etc. He has been on a role. You know he can drop a triple double on you any day. He can take you inside and outside and that is what he did at the end of the year and the playoffs. Him and Kobe have really stepped it up and that has reflected on the role players. Hopefully they can keep this up.

_________________________________Kwame Brown
First I just want to say that I hope that he didn't do anything and that everything was just a big joke. So now back to Kwame. Turn Around. At the beginning of the year the Staples Crown booed him and it looked like he was going to be a bust (which he already was). But since Chris Mihms injury this beast has really improved even hearing KWAME chants form the crowd. Now knows to take his time while his doing a post move. A better rebounder. Improving his free-throws I think. And has shown what he can do if somebody messes with him (Diaw). Hopefully he can keep playing like this for the rest of the playoffs and next year.

___________________________________Luke Walton
He really sucked during the season. I admit that except for the end of the season. He really improved mostly like most of the Laker roster. He is 1 of 3 players in the Laker roster that can be a playmaker. Kobe, Lamar and him. He always finds a way to get better during the playoffs. It's like the playoffs were made for him. I can't really write much about him since he just started playing good ball for the last 5 games of the season and the playoffs. Sure Kwame did to but I got to see more of Kwame playing during the season. Luke not so much.

Bench
Eeeh. There bench isn't very good. Turiaf. George, Bynum,Mihm(injured), Cookie. There's really no scorer in there excpet George, Cook and Mihm, but Cook and Devean are catch and shoot and they have nobody to have them pass the ball to them when Kobe, Lamar and Luke aren't playing. So I have to admit our bench isn't very good.

Conclusion
The Lakers really surprised a lot of people. A lot of people thought they would be a lottery team. But that's why you never doubt a Kobe Bryant team. Kobe is capable of anything. Kwame, Odom, Luke, and George really stepped up at the ned of the season and that's how to should have been for the whole season. Lakers have to continue to play like this and they will be a deadly team Lakers have figured out the Suns and hopefully can continue there streak.

Go Lakers! :jam2:

Damn they lost. Oh well. Atleast Raja willl get suspended for closlining Kobe. I hate him. I hope Kobe says something to him when the Lakers beat the Suns next game. Both Raja and Kobe got ejected Kobe for talking and Raja for a flagrant. This series is heated. Oh yea one more thing

I hate Raja Bell.

Tonights game is going to be a hot one. I'm looknig forward to seeing how the Lakers take advantage now that the Suns don't have Bell to defend Kobe.

Congrats to the Suns for advancing. Hats off to the Lakers for the effort. It was a sad way to go out but no one expected them to even make this a series but they did. Kobe should get a lot more credit then he should for putting that team into the playoffs.
