dailynews:
The list of injured Lakers grew lengthier Monday as forward Devean George learned that his sore left foot will sideline him for at least a week.
George took an overnight flight to Indianapolis after the Lakers' 96-93 loss Sunday to Chicago and had his foot examined by Dr. David A. Porter at the Methodist Sports Medicine Center.
It was Porter who performed the surgery on George's left ankle in July 2004. George, who played 13 minutes and scored four points against the Bulls, underwent both an MRI and CT scan but no structural damage was found.
The Lakers already are without forward Kwame Brown (hamstring strain) for another 10 days and forward Slava Medvedenko (herniated disc) for five weeks.
The saga continues for L.A. injuries is only making it harder on them. Luke will return but he is rusty and doesn't know all of the new teammates in terms of style play. Making the playoffs like dimmer and dimmer for this team.
