Real GM:Indy Star - Pacers president Larry Bird promised offseason changes if the team's performance doesn't meet expectations.

Bird said he and CEO Donnie Walsh have worked to address issues of maturity and demeanor throughout the season.

"There will be changes," Bird said. "Not that we're going to trade all our players, but by talking to them. We've been doing that. In the last two or three weeks we've talked to every one of our players. Me and Donnie see the same things that the fans see.

"I respect every one of these guys," he said. "Sometimes during games they get too emotional. Sometimes it looks like they're not giving effort. But these players do care."

Maybe his saying that his going to trade Jermaine maybe? To the Lakers :man1: . J/k. The Pacers, if they decide to trade Jermaine, they are going to get to play with a bunch of offers. The front-runner would probably be Sacramento-Wink-wink.Artest for Jermaine anyone :man1: :man10: . Who else would the Pacers trade?? Croshere? Fred Jones. His trade value would go up after this season. He is having one hell of a season. But I don't want the Pacers to trade him. He will probably be the future of the Pacers with Granger and Peja. I have no idea what LArry Bird is thinking but let's just hope he pulls of a deal that would benefit the team. Unless the deal involves the Knicks or Lakers :man11:
