Amare Activated

realgm:Press Release - The Phoenix Suns have activated forward/center Amaré Stoudemire.

Stoudemire has been inactive for the team’s first 66 games after undergoing surgery to repair a joint surface defect in his left knee on October 11, 2005.

The Suns (45-21) own the league’s fourth-best record despite the absence of the 23-year-old, who was the only NBA player ranked in the top 10 in points (26.0, 5th) and field goal percentage (.559, 2nd) last season.

The 6-10, 245-pound forward/center has not appeared in a game since June 1, 2005 when the Suns were defeated 4-1 in the 2005 Western Conference Finals vs. the eventual NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs .

Phoenix hosts the Portland Trail Blazers (20-47) at 7 p.m. tomorrow at the US Airways Center.

Amare will be rusty. Don't let that whole thing about him training and such fool you. It's not the same as actually playing for real.

Glad to see him back though.

What the hell I think you were right. :jam2: :man1:  :jam2: :man1: . I think he did get 20

After the game he said that he barley realized the pain on his knee. Great news for the Suns, bad news for the western conference
