The Lakers would have to include one other contract to make the numbers match. Right now, the deal-killer for the Lakers would be Marbury, whom Jackson would not take. But if the Lakers traded Bryant, do you think Jackson would come back next season?

if thats the case then its not worth getting him. Unless he would be a free agent

Thats not much to give up for a player like Kobe. I think that the only thing that Knicks would really be losing is David Lee. Steph is getting up there in age and Frye hasn't been producing like Knicks needed him to. I doubt Lakers will give up Kobe for that package though.
