Artest still available for Knicks?

Link:If Ron Artest is still available the Knicks would likely have to come off their stance of David Lee and Renaldo Balkman as untouchables. The Kings nearly received Bulls star Ben Gordon in a three-team Artest/Kobe Bryant trade.

RON RON wouldent hurt our team....i wouldent mind the most scariest defender in NY....i mean we wont be a good defensive team like stat wise but sure would be good at stopping certain players

We need an impact player because from the looks of it this team doesn't have someone who wants to take lead when crunch time occurs. Ron would be a nice fit since he fears no one and have the attitude to strike fear on his opponents.

If we got Artest too, DAMN, we would be beastin it up. Artest is a great ball player, I just want Nate to stay and Lee.

I doubt the Knicks are gonna trade for him at this point. We must really be having a crappy season for that to happen.

Hopefully he'll opt out at the end of the season and we can buy out Jerome James and Jared Jeffries in order to make room for Artest. We see how serious he is about playing in NY!

right now the way we are playing, we dont really need him. Curry and Randolph are doing great together and I sseriously think we can make the playoffswithout Artest. I would love to get Artest but I dont see that happening

Awesome if Kings GM goes for that but I would prefer to keep Rose and throw in Jerome James instead. Rose still has some use and James has yet to show that he can help us in any way.
