Preview:The Atlanta Hawks look for their third win in four outings Friday when they host the struggling New York Knicks.
Coming off a 13-win season, Atlanta dropped 16 of its first 18 contests before registering two victories against quality opponents. Atlanta topped defending-champion San Antonio on Saturday and got by Cleveland on Tuesday.
Al Harrington scored 27 points and Tyronn Lue added 21 for Atlanta, which failed in its bid for a three-game winning streak in Wednesday's 106-101 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Knicks have averaged just 85.5 points during a four-game losing streak and yielded 23-of-37 3-pointers in their past two outings.
Eddy Curry scored 23 points and Quentin Richardson added a season-high 16 for the Knicks, who lost for the sixth time in seven contests in Wednesday's 105-90 loss to the Orlando Magic.
The Knicks won three of the four encounters against the Hawks last season.
