Brown may be out when Knicks visit playoff-bound Bucks
Preview: Milwaukee (38-40) at New York (22-56) 7:30 pm EDT
NEW YORK (Ticker) - The New York Knicks may not have Larry Brown patrolling the bench Friday as they visit the Milwaukee Bucks, who are in the thick of the playoff race.
Brown, who has been at the helm of one of the worst seasons in Knicks history, was hospitalized because of a stomach problem that forced him to leave in the third quarter of the team's 91-87 loss at Cleveland on Thursday.
Rookie Nate Robinson scored 32 points and Jamal Crawford added 19, but they were the only two New York players in double figures as the team fell into a tie with Charlotte for the worst record in the Eastern Conference.
Despite being two games below .500, the Bucks are in the thick of the playoff race. They are tied with Indiana for the sixth seed in the East but just one game ahead of both Chicago and Philadelphia.
Milwaukee posted a 100-97 triumph over Washington, which it trails by one game for fifth place in the Eastern Conference playoff race. Michael Redd scored 21 of his 24 points in the second half, including a game-deciding jumper with 19 seconds to go, as the Bucks ended a four-game losing streak.
