Sore Knee KOs Steve 2 Weeks

Sore Knee KOs Steve 2 Weeks

Link:Steve Francis will miss at least another two weeks with right-knee tendinitis following a second opinion on his condition in Washington. Francis will re-evaluated.

Francis, not with the team last night, said earlier this week he's "quaking in his boots" about his knee not responding to strength exercises or treatment. At this point, it's not a stretch to speculate he may ultimately need surgery and be lost for the season. Francis' absence spared Isiah Thomas the embarrassment of benching him.

They way that the Knicks have been playing, it doesn't pay to get injured. Frye has already lost his starting spot and Francis looks like he is about to as well.

ISteve Francis suffered yet another setback yesterday when the Knicks announced that the veteran guard had returned home to Houston to continue rehabilitation on his chronically sore right knee.

The team declined to give a timetable for Francis' return, which leaves open the possibility that he may be done for the season.

This is probably the best thing for Steve but the Knicks might not have room for him whenever he comes back. Especially if they are winning.

We should have never traded for him. I had some expectations but I knew in the long run the duo of Francis & Marbury wouldn't work. Trading him is now even twice as hard and I can't say what positives we gained since getting him.

Im still pissed that we gave up Ariza for him. Ariza has been playing great as of late.

There are some rumors that Steve is going to be traded soon. I think we shouldn't have traded for him either, I knew Ariza was going to be something spacial when he dunked on Big Ben :man11:
