RealGM:It's not official, but New York Knicks rookie Nate Robinson, the former Washington Husky, is expected to compete in the dunk contest in next month's All-Star Game in Houston. At 5-9, he would be the event's shortest competitor since Spud Webb won the title several years ago

UPDATE
nydailynews:SLAMMING SUCCESS: The league will announce next week that 5-9 fan favorite Nate Robinson has been invited to participate in the slam dunk contest at All-Star Weekend. Robinson's popularity aside, the rookie guard has been a constant target of Brown all season.
As Brown was praising Woods yesterday, he said of Robinson: "I told Nate, not in a bad way, that (Woods) was drafted 21st like you and he was out of the league. You've got to learn from that and you've got to listen to him."
I'm pumped. A lot of pple don't really know how atheletic this guy is. He's gonna surprise a lot of folks. Man it's been a while since we've seen a Knick @ an allstar game. If I'm not mistaken Allan Houston was our last for the 3pt contest.
