!06 NBA Draft!

I know it's very early. But it looks like were going to get a top 5 pick. Who do you guys think we should get. I don't want like 50 threads in the off-season about draft. So I hope this will be the official one. My choices would probably be AdamMorrison, or LaMarcus Alridge.

Who do you guys think we should or should not draft this year??[

If anybody thinks of JJ Reddick. I don't think we should draft him. We already have, Francis, Q, and Crawford. At the that position. But Reddick could add a shooter to the team, alond side Q. 2 guys that can shoot lights out in the game at the same time would be deadly. All the Knicks have to do to make it deadly would be to find a pass first PG. Not like Murbury. Which is Shoot first. A guy like Luke Ridnour would be good. Maybe even Maurice Ager from Michigan. But I think that if we did it would be way to early. Plus I don't think Isaih would draft him cuz we have Murbury and Nate.

Also, I have interest in Sheldon Williams. 6-9 Power Forward from Duke. He is also a senior. He would replace Malik in the the starting line-up . Him and Curry would be deadly in the future to. So those are other college players we should look in to.

If you don't know them. Here's a picture of them. You'll probably regonize there face

Oh man I forgot about Rudy G*y. One hell of a player. Plays for UConn. 6-8 Small Forward, Sophomore. Has been the leader of the Huskies this year and last with Charlie. People were picking him at the beggining of the season to be the first pick and he has proved that he can be, but so have Morrison, Aldridge, Reddick..

Well Rudy is a very good dunker. Is a all-a-round player. Compared to Scottie Pippen. Has very good potential. Has no problems with coaches. People won't buy his jersey much. :man12: . But is very good.
Here are his stats right now
20.4 minutes per game/15.3 points per game/ 6.7 rebounds per game/1.8 stelas per game/ 1.7 blockes per game/2.7 assists per game

Has led the Huskie to I think a 27-2 season. Recent lose to Syrucuse were Gerry McNamara WAS SHOOTING LIGHTS OUT! Espically dem 3's

Well there's another option I think the Knicks should look at and will certaintly will when draft day comes

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do we even have a 1st rounder this year.?? Or a 2nd rounder? If we do. We should go Hassan Adams.6-4 Small Forward. Plays for Arizona. Is very athletic. I would probably compare him to Travis Outlaw. Highflyer. Very good Stamina. Good Body. Has no real position in the NBA. 6-4 Small Forward is to small for a forward or a shooting guard. And a little to big for the Point guard. For that I would compare him to Dwanye Wade when he first came into the league he didn't really have a position, but look at him now plays the 2 and the 1 and is one of the game best players.

Stats.
17.3 ppg/ 2.9 apg/5.1 rpg/In 33.5 minutes per game. He is "A" freak

Curry was supposed to make that up for us by giving the Knicks a threat in the low post which he does do. Unfortunetly it's not consistent enough to tally up wins, instead it's vice versa. At 1st I thought the upcoming draft was going to be very weak, instead it's looking pretty good, sucks we don't have our pick :bang:

Wait I just saw that we have Denver's and San Antonio's 1st rounders is this right? So for me the 3 top choices that I would choice because of talent are
1.Sheldon Brown
2.Hassan Adams
3.Dee Brown

And I'm going to talk of why we should pick them. Not about Hassan though becasue I already have talked about him.

Dee Brown
Dee Brown is a 6-0 point guard. He plays for Illinois. He is very quick. And is as dangerous as Steve Nash on the fastbreak. If you want him to pass to you on a fastbreak, you better be quick and have fast hands because his [Swearing is not permitted at Clublakers. You must edit this post prior to submitting.] are quick! Has the power to lead his team back to win the game. Played with Deron Williams last year and went to the Chamionship game, but lost to UNC. But that shows that he is a winner. And that's what this New york team needs ! A guy that knows how to win. Our leaders are Marbury ,Rose, and Stevie and there teams have had losing records for the past 2 years!

Dee brown also likes to pass alot. He can makes his shots. But sometimes he looks for his teammates a little to much. Sometimes, when his WIDE open he will give-up the shot and make the extra pass, which sometimes results in a turnover. The problem with him is that he can't pass and scoer at the same time. When his scoring he has 30 points and 1 assists, but when his passing he has 11 assists, and 8points, so that's another problem with Brown he has like 2 modes, passing and scoring. If he finds a way to use them both at the same time, he will be a deadly Pont Guard in the NBA.! NBAdraft.net has us picking him with our Denver pick!!

Sheldon Williams
I already talked about him but i wanna talk about him some more. He is a senior for Duke. Having an Amazing year this year. Plays Power Forward, which we need. But is 6-9. His not as big as other power Forwards. But look at Ben Wallace.6-9 to and has won 2 defensive of the year player award 2 times! Now back to Williams. He like Dee Brown is a winner. He plays for Duke! That just shows his a winner. Is a great post player. Very good defender, and will be able to guard Power forwards, maybe even centers in the league. He averaged 4 block a game. I repeat 4 blocks a game!! He won defensive player of the tear last year as a Junior!

Knows how to use the hook. Has worked on his jump-shots since arriving at Duke and he knows how to shoot farily good. Tramendas rebounder. The best rebounder in the nation in my opinion! If we pick him up it will make us from a under 500 tean to a 500 team because we would have Curry and Williams and in the paint. Q who is a deadly shoot. Marbury how can ceate his own shot. And Rose as the team leader. That would be a team to be rekkon with!!

Maurice Ager

6'5 Small Forward that plays for Michigan St.. He is my favorite College player as you can see from my sig and avatar. Has experience in the NCAA, Senior. He was rated number 6 samll foward in the nation. Has a very very good jump-shot. Can create his own shot. Is a decent passer. Has really improved it since he came to Michigan st. Was named the Number 1 shooter in the Big Ten, and Number 7 in the Nation. Is the leader of his team. Paul Davis, Shannon Brown, and Maurice Ager are the M.V.P's of the team if it wasn't for them, they wouldn't even be in the NCAA Tournament.

Is a very good finisher near the basket. Takes the shots his comforable with. He doesn't take shots that he doesn't like. He is a very good rebounder for a 6-5 Forward/Guard. Sometimes is not that consistent. One game he can have 28 points the next 10. Has led the Spartans to a 20-11 record. Stats. 19.1 Points Per Game/ 2.5 Assists Per Game/ 4.1 Rebounds Per Game.

Pretty good. This years draft is going to be pretty deep. If we get Maurice Ager I'm going to go crazy!!! Plus there a chance of us getting Sheldon Williams. He would help down low in the post a lot. Hopefully we can trade to get an earlier pick. from around 10-15. That's why I'm posting players that we can get later in the draft. Maurice Ager is a 10-15 pick. He may slip. Hassan Adams 2nd rounder. Dee Brownb 2nd rounder. Sheldon Williams I have a feeling that his going to sleep right into New York's pick! So there's a pretty good chance we can get a key player in the draft.

I know in the off-season I suspect there will be alot of trades going on. IMO I wouldn't be shocked if you see Starbury, Crawford, Rose, Richardson, Jerome James all gone from the roster.

If the team stays the same I think the Knicks will go big. Probaly go after Sheldon Williams. Give them some D to that frontline. If they decide Frye and curry are their future then they may go after Brown who can makes plays or Reddick a pure shooter something the Knicks lack.

Isiah has always picked gems for us (even Ariza in the 2nd round) so lets hope he can do the same with the picks we have.

By the way Force you are doing a SICK job man
