Link:Renaldo Balkman emerged last spring as one of the Knicks’ bright spots, but he will enter the new season as their first casualty. Balkman will be out at least four weeks and will probably miss the Knicks’ season opener because of a stress reaction and cartilage damage in his right ankle, the team announced yesterday.
Thats sad to hear but this gives us a chance to see what D-Nic, Jeffries, or anyone else that can fill in Balkman's spot. I think we'll be fine while he makes a full recovery.
