The Hartford Courant: Williams' stock is rising and he'll have a chance today to further cement his draft position when he works out for several NBA teams in Carson Calif.

Williams' father, Kelly, said the Knicks' Isiah Thomas will be among those watching him today. The Knicks have the 20th and 29th picks and may try to move up to take Williams, who signed with agent Calvin Andrews of BDA Sports Management over the weekend.

"Some of the teams can't send anybody to the workout because they're still in the playoffs," Kelly Williams said. "A lot of established teams are trying to move up to get him. Larry Bird [Indiana Pacers] loves him. Miami likes him. The Lakers like him, but they just don't have the pieces to move up. A lot of point guards have thrived under [Knicks coach] Larry brown. Look at the success he's had with pass-first point guards who have accepted his system, bought into it. Eric Snow, Chauncey Billups, Mark Jackson."

I don't know about this. I like his game overall, I just don't just don't want another point guard. Nate Robinson, Marbury, Francis! I think that's enough. I think what we need is a big man. I guess we just have to sit back and wait.

Both Steph & Steve had subpar seasons. Isiah has mention that this was a test to see if those two can play well together and well...they didn't. One of them is going to go (guess who I want out :man1: ). Once that happens that will leave someone else to come in, could this be our guy?
