Knicks' Curry Annoyed At Continued Physical Beatings

New York Post -
Like Shaquille O'Neal before him, Knicks' center Eddy Curry continues to lash out at what he feels is a double standard in the NBA: the bigger you are, the more you get hit and hit hard.
"I just feel like it's getting old," he said. "I'm not going to let nobody disrespect me out there."
Curry and New Jersey center Jamaal Magloire exchanged shoves as well as a few choice words during the Nets' preseason win on Thursday. Curry and Knicks' coach Isiah Thomas have complained for the past two years that Curry is a victim of minor assaults every time he takes the floor. Because of Curry's size (6-11, 285 pounds) and strength, it takes a lot to prevent him from scoring when he is under the basket, which usually leads to excessive punishment.
O'Neal has voiced similar concerns for years, saying that most of the fouls against him fall under the category of flagrant. Houston's Yao Ming is another player who absorbs more punishment than most.
