Knick Injury Update

Link:David Lee: He plans to return to action even if the Knicks are no longer in the race when his leg heals enough to permit him to play. Lee reported progress but is still not ready to practice. “I did the water treadmill today, shot free throws and biked,” he said.

Steve Francis: “He did not practice, and I do not think he’s going to play (Wednesday),” said coach Isiah Thomas. “I think he’ll play soon, but I don’t know when that will be. I don’t think this will be a season-ender.”

Jamal Crawford: He is not running yet but he's doing a little more each day.

Hearing the condition that Francis is in just makes me depressed :man5:

It'll be great to have Lee back but he should take his time in coming back. Francis shouldn't be too far away from coming back but who knows with him.

Well with us out of the playoffs, all of them can take their time to recover. The last thing I want is a quick return that can lead up to a bigger and longer injury.

Here's more on Lee...

IFFY: David Lee, who dressed for Wednesday's loss to the Sixers but did not play, is being listed as day-to-day with a sore leg. Steve Francis (sprained ankle) isn't expected to play tonight and says he likely won't travel to Milwaukee for tomorrow's game.
