Francis Might be done for Season

Postby Vash on Mon Feb 26, 2007 12:40 pm

NY Post A confused Steve Francis said last night his season might be over.

It took waking up yesterday morning with a sore right knee to make the Knicks point guard wonder if it's time to call it a season. It may have just been frustration talking, but Francis will meet today with Dr. Lisa Callahan, the Knicks director of medical care, to determine his future

The article is from today so these developments are pretty recent. I know he hasn't play in the last 2 games. Its a shame though because I thought that he was playing well since he came back.

If he is packing it up for the rest of the season, I don't see him being a Knick next year.

Just days after hinting that he was finished for the season, Steve Francis is expected to return to practice today.

Francis had revealed that the soreness in his right knee had returned about the same time that the Knicks failed to deal the veteran guard before the trade deadline.

Francis and the Knicks have been trying to negotiate a buyout. But with Crawford out, Francis' knee suddenly feels better and the team announced yesterday that he is ready to play.

According to the Knicks, Francis had an MRI in New York yesterday that showed he is suffering from tendinitis.

This guy needs to make up his mind what the hell he wants to do and stop playing around. This is just getting on my nerves!
