Link Yes, the Knicks are below .500 and have been for much of his three-year tenure. But like it or not, they are only one game out of first place heading into Wednesday's game against Philadelphia. And while it is true that the Atlantic Division is downright awful, of all the teams that did not make the playoffs last year, the Knicks have the best core of young talent. Consequently, they are a lot closer to regular playoff appearances and being NBA Finals contenders than you may think.

Its always nice to see something positive being said about the Knicks.

While to some this may sound a bit out of the box it is indeed true. The sixers are no longer a major threat with Iverson and C-Webb gone so they are now gonna rebuild. The Nets have been struggling, Pacers have a injured J.O and the Heat are Shaqless for quite some time. This leaves the Bulls to gives us some trouble.

If the Knicks can get on a win streak they will be a lot more closer to the promise land than most think. All it takes is some confidence, consistency, and some pride to get you there. The rest falls into place alone.
