nydailynews:PHILADELPHIA - Trevor Ariza has the distinction of being the first draft pick of the Isiah Thomas era in New York. He also may go down as the first player to be exiled under the Larry Brown regime.
Ariza, whom Brown referred to as "delusional" three weeks ago, has been relegated to the inactive list for three straight games. The demotion comes days after Ariza requested a private audience with the head coach but Brown refused.
Ariza has fallen behind Qyntel Woods and David Lee on the depth chart. What's interesting about Woods, who has made two straight starts, is that Brown was responsible for the team signing the former first-round pick.
