Hip, Hip, Curry!

Link: Curry’s dunk allowed the Knicks to close out November with a mammoth 101-98 victory over the Cavaliers at Quicken Loans Arena and finish the month with a 6-11 record.

“I’m so you used to Jamal’s heroics, we depend so much on Jamal making big shots at the end,” Curry said. “It felt good to be a part of it.”

Curry finished with 24 points, his fourth straight 20-plus outing, and made 10 of 15 free throws, which isn’t good but better than his 51-percentage.

“One of the subtle changes happening to the team is a subtle direction of the ball starting to go inside, which is forcing some changes out on the perimeter,” Thomas said. “There’s a natural growth process that’s happening. It’s happening to our team. It’s not showing up in wins and losses. But I feel good about the direction we’re going.”

Curry needed some offensive help and got it big time from Quentin Richardson, who returned from a hamstring injury to torture LeBron James and the Cavaliers.

Richardson prevented James from dominating while the Knicks small forward went off on his own with 27 points, making 10 of 15 shots, five of seven 3-pointers and hauling in nine boards.

“I had some good looks,” said Richardson, who missed the Bulls’ loss Tuesday.

James had a much-less efficient 27, as he shot 10-of-22 and missed on a key runner in the final minute that sealed the Cavs’ fate.
